Eric and Odile Pelissier, ceramists, have created 25 years ago the Arkhétype company. Back then they created many copies of antic ceramics for museums (Neolithic to Gallo-Roman), which grew into an interesting quest to search for sigillata varnishes and ancient cooking techniques, nourished by meetings and exchanges with ceramicists Pierre Bayle, Sophie Houdebert and brother Daniel de Montmollin.
An opportunity to travel and work in archeology in the Antilles made them emigrate, 15 years later, homecoming, they created a small ceramic workshop in 2010.
Then they exchanged with other potters in Borne and in the Perigord.
The mixture of archaeological influences for Eric and high temperatures ceramics for Odile brings out varied work in Raku, stoneware and porcelain.
